After a successful decade of helping to educate children across the UK about the environment and sustainability, Yell made a strategic business decision to bring its eco-educational initiative, the Yellow Woods Challenge, to a permanent close in April 2011.

The decision reflects Yell’s re-alignment of its corporate responsibility programme with its changing business requirements.

Yell would like to thank all the schools, communities and local authorities that have joined in with Yellow Woods Challenge and we encourage everyone to continue using their local council’s facilities for recycling their old Yellow Pages directories.
